Valiant groupies Wayne and Daniel TD5 on the pontoon at Levington. Nearest is Wayne's brand new Valiant PT520 with, yes you've guessed, an Evinrude Ficht 90. The rivers of Suffolk echoed all afternoon with the gloriously throaty wail of Ficht engines which I can only liken to the exhaust note of a Ferrari 360 at full chat - quite the most superb sounding outboards on the market
Wayne's new baby tops out at just on 50mph but it's the way it gets there that's really impressive. That Evinrude just flies, in total contrast to the Mariner 90 4-stroke that he just got rid of.
Nice looking package you have there Wayne and wish you all the best, I agree with you Phil the sound of the FICHT´s is a good rythm (have sold few big one in the past (OMC´s time) and I wanted to throw my engine overboard to justify one FICHT for myself)

God, this is like a bad case of constipation. Get off the pan, Davies, and buy a new Etec. If you procrastinate much longer, the world will have run out of oil.
