Hopefully the weather I'm looking at is showing the same as others....

Winds dropping, bright sunshine!?

Northerly could make the slip fun...but the Solent flat! ..come on Matt get the mercinrudeaha revved up....or get on my beast....

May need to help each other with the launching and recovery, as single handed may be a bit tricky if big waves. Forecasts I'm looking at are still showing breezy for Saturday morning. Looking forward to it woohoo

I'll have my Black shadow on...so makes all that far easier.

I don't mind beaching mine....it's partly why I got it....so I don't have to worry about scratching it :-)

Hi Nick
I'm hoping to be out on Sunday - running in the new engine on the Searider - probably just going from Southampton (under the Itchen Bridge) to Cowes for lunch and back.

I'll be in a dry suit so we will look a right pair of Ribnobbers, but will be warm and dry

Happy to beach mine as well.

Looking forward to Saturday.

If this is open to honourary SRs as well as SRs, I fancy coming over from Poole in Grimalkin for Saturday lunch in Yarmouth if that's still on the plans. Mrs A looks doubtful (she'll take the wind but not the cold) so I'll probably be on my own unless anybody wants to join me.

David you are very welcome to join us. Myself and PeterM will be launching between 1000 and 1015 from Calshot. Give me a call on 07534 909802 on Sat morning and we can arrange a time to meet you at Hurst castle, before heading into Yarmouth for lunch.

When we are closer you can reach us on Ch 77

Chris

Weather still looking good , wind dropped to 10-12knts northerly - sunshine but cold - which is fine.

All I need to do is fuel up on way ( and the Jonnyrude doesn't half drink it at full chat ) , remember to put everything in the car - like radio and lifejacket ( which I forgot last weekend) and strap the boat down and go .

First outing on new(old) trailer ! What the worst that could happen ! ?

Still only me on board - so if anyone is at a loose end...let me know....

It was a fantastic day. Weather was superb, as was lunch in Yarmouth. Really enjoyed going "through" The Needles and the blast back from Yarmouth to Southampton Water at around 30kts :-)

These SR4's are unbelievable value both to buy and run. I had a full days boating, the majority of the time at WOT, and I only used 20 litres of fuel

The video will be sorted out tonight but here are a couple of still photos from yesterday on Tigga's Facebook page.
