I'm hoping to take the caravan down to pebble Bank Fri and Sat eve. will ring tomorrow

We are still hoping to come, if the weather is fine.
One question, not sure if we will need to re-fuel ? Will 22litres get us there and back? Bombard 380 2 up and 15hp Mercury 2 stroke? We will have 5lts spare fuel and could allways bring another 5lts no problem.
Will this be enough?

that should be fine with the spare, last trip both Trevor and I used about the same 2 gallons.

I had 25 litres, and 2 separate gallon tanks.

portland that is a fantastic offer ,(mike would have to have first shout though) my wifey and daughter had a fantastic trip with graham last time ... i think mine and xs400 (mikes) hassle is the fact its a long way for a small boat for a wee bairn
but no hassle or grief either way .. will be good to meet you guys ,in fact it will be good to follow you guys ...rofl

Yeah For some reason the pull start got caught mid pull & stopped dead & it tore out my grip. I looked down to see the end of my ring finger pointing upwards! Broken finger and snapped tendon, Now strapped up for 8 weeks with no boating!

I missed out on last years trip too! Maybe next year

Me and 'er are booked in at pebble bank Friday and Saturday night.
Picked up a 25hp yamaha yesterday so will be a good opportunity to try it out.

Will be coming straight from work Friday so probably won't be there until late but will hopefully have enough time for a few beers.

Looking forward to it as I missed the last one.

Hi All, Just booked pebble bank for Sat night only, will be travelling down early Sat morn, will not have time to get to camp site ,so will meet you at the slip,are we still aiming for a 10.30ish launch?whats the plan for food Sat eve, bbq, fish & chips, nice to know so we can bring accordingly ?looking forward to meeting all.

We will only be doing the Saturday, so we will arrive at Castletown probably around 9am ish. It takes me about an hour to get set up, so we can arrive earlier if most people want to leave before then?

I will keep an eye out for you Phil We will arrive in my blue and silver Toyota Surf, sib inside

Will want to head back late afternoon but we will be allright on our own by then.

Pheonixpete being ready at 10 is fine, returning late afternoon I reckon will be good for everyone.
