Just got home myself.....
Cracking little day out, best so far since I've had my boat. Good to see the different variety of boats tackling the waves.
Decent bunch of fellas.
Where next.?

A brilliant day out, I really enjoyed it. Great to meet some ribnetters as well.
Of course I had a great crew. James and Annette were absolutely brilliant, and they have both proven that 3 year olds can sleep anywhere!
I took a few photos and a bit of video, so I'll try and sort it out tomorrow.
It is so much nicer to cruise in company, so thanks to xs 400 for organising it. Sorry I could not stay down, but next time.....

Hi Wibs.
Really happy with our little combo.
The engine is just right for it, 2 up it stills gets straight up on the plane with more than enough speed for us, on my own it really flies, slightly scarily fast if you want it too.
It is a compromise with good points being. light, quick and easy to set up,good seaworthy hull shape, ( deep V,for a sib) engine weight manageable and plenty of power. Only downside is as it is an air floor it is not flat, it angles down from both sides, so it is difficult to stand up in, but the angle is quite good as when sitting on the tube it gives a nice comfy angle for your feet to rest on.
It might be nice to have a seat at the back for the driver if it could be done.
Really achey last night and still this morning and a scuffed knuckle caused by all that hanging on for dear life.
Great day

They were a pleasure to have on board, and they made my day.
I have put my photos on Flickr - see
Portland to Lulworth August 2013 - a set on Flickr
I had tried to take some video with the stills camera, but not much of it is any good. Should have got the proper video camera out
I'll edit together the few bits I have and post the link. Did I see a gopro on the back of 'Lilly'?

That was the first mayday I've listened to.......amazing how calm everyone's tone comes across on the airways.
I don't think it sounds lfe threatening by the report.
Helicopter was impressive.
