Andre, we're going to stay local. Have spoken with Kevin and maybe see you around Cowes/Calshot 10:30ish? Looks like it's a day for an anti-clockwise journey around. Perhaps Yarmouth for an early lunch... Ventnor could be a bit iffy as there might not be enough water with the neap tide.

Julian, we won't get down early enough for an Alderney run (we need another full hour to get down to Lymington from our base) so sorry that's not going to be for us this weekend.

OK, suitably chastised, we've got some pictures from today - so just to prove that we have at least as much fun down here as the NWribsters, here's Jackeen, Jackeen (missus) and Stuart (no, not wavehumper but another SIBster recruited specialy to join forces with Keith Hart) running past Calshot - they had no idea of the huge swell (well, huge for a 5m RIB paradiddling along and either disappearing from veiw or getting airbourne) that they were about to encounter!!

We couldn't get any more pictures on our way down to Yarmouth as we kept losing sight of each other in the swell.

Met up with Julian in Liquidator and Peter in Loose Cannon, then went for a play out past the needles:

We're off again today for some more relaxed, inshore fun whilst the offshore forcast looks a bit wicked.

Great day out; didn't even mind watching the rugby in Yarmouth when Jackeen insisted..I presume from the roars that Englad won? commiserations Charles

Thanks for the buddying Blue Ice!!!Paradiddle quite likes diving off waves so the positioning of the crew was all stategic (hubby is well insured).

Really enjoyed the trip to the Needles Julian & Roger though I didn't realise boats could do THAT Amazing...Stuart had a similar Formula 1 experience on Loose Cannon...

Sorry not to see you Andre...next time.

Off we go again to Warsash to meet up with Richard & Louise for a Sunday Spin...

the missus

Morning All

It was good to meet up with you all again on Saturday, We had a good run down to Cowes with Loose Cannon in the morning, quite bumpy down there for the solent which made it interestin. Enjoyed watching the end of the rugby and a nice run to the Needles. Glad you enjoyed the run , if you ever need a lift just ask.

If the weather is good this coming weekend and you fancy lunch in Alderney just let me know.

Julian

Julian

I have a 'small' steering problem at the moment but looking to go over the channel in the next 3-4 weeks on a Sunday. I'll PM you when I know which weekend and see if we can go over together

Cheers

Mark
