Safely back home and showered after a lovely lunch outside in the sunshine (sort of!) in The Sloop at Wootten Creek (seemingly revamped since last September with a more restricted menu but a carvery for £3.50 Mon to Sat and £6.50 on Sunday. No wonder the inside of the pub was full!).

Sorry we lost Blackroady on the way but I saw Benc's boat in Yarmouth when getting fuel on the way home; would have come and said hello if I'd known which pub you were in!

I have a orange tornado

We went out late due to a salt blockage in the water cooling for one of the engines.

Finally got going, and headed over to cowes for a beer, then down to yarmouth for lunch and to grab a bit of fuel, and then a play around the needles and back to drivers wharf. Weather was not too bad, was good to get out and about again

saw you guys cruising across alum bay from the top of the cliffs! Looked nice out there but today would have been superb for ribbing!

Nice to meet Avocet and Blackroady and co. The weather perhaps not as good as on Sunday but the chop was just enough for a high speed blast to the Needles and then lunch at Wooten Creek. here we were lucky cos the tides were right.

It seems that no one has made a comment about the height and positioning my radar scanner. This scanner was only fitted the day before that photo was taken. Well in case you could be concerned about my health then no fear. the radar scanner emitts max 1/10 of what a mobile tel does. This is the very latest from Navico and is known as the Broadband radar BR24
I will shortly post some info and photos of targets in the Electronics section.

Seahawk V is the first rib in Europe to have had this new broadband radar installed and tested on the water. Yesterday the system was launched to the dealers and distributors and today to the press.
