Weather cannot be planned. We take it as it comes, and sometimes a shorter more sheltered passage can be subbed in. But with a force6/7 forecast to be blowing straight at the slip when plan was to haul out.... No no. Sometimes discretion is the better part of valour. Your new boat definitely looks the business.

That wind has been passing through here since the middle of the night - blowing giblets ATM. The right call - the only call IMO. Weather is the great bug-bear of all planned boating events and the pressure to proceed can often be strong, particularly where there social media involved.
