After taking advice today the trip will be going ahead but if you have any of the k19 symptoms please don’t attend as we will be on our own boats and tents and only be nearish at the camp fire we should all be fine the trip will only be called off if we have to go into hibernation by order of bojo [emoji23]🤣[emoji23]🤣[emoji23]🤣 hope to see you all there HH

My view as a registered, practising Paramedic. Currently I’m with Haggis. Should be ok to go ahead.

We are in separate boats, separate tents and only proximity is outside in the evening around a camp fire.

We will most likely all have had salt water sprayed at us all day too [emoji1].

Let’s hope we don’t end up on lock down like some Eu countries! Please follow governments advice and don’t ignore this problem or it will become much bigger than it already is. We have the power to defeat this but only if we ALL act responsibly all the time.

Fingers crossed. Watch this space.

Hi, can you let me know where in Largs you launch from? Also is there a decent car park nearby?
Thanks

Sadly I think with the way things are going, what seemed to be reasonable today won't be tomorrow. Certainly the feedback I'm getting from the islands (where I have a house) is that they would prefer people not to travel there regardless of how 'off grid' they are.

Good luck with whatever you choose to do.

Sadly I agree. It seems that mass hysteria trumps common sense yet again.

Yes. I fear things are changing. It looks like we may have to change our plans.

The social distancing advise currently in place does not seem to be working. As many are not actually keeping any distance. Our view on being ok outside near the fire may not be enough to comply with this advice.

Let’s just keep listening to government advise and see how it goes.

Im prepared, and ready to go,....but will also follow the government guide lines,......we can see what is possible, nearer the time??

Stay safe peeps....

Hope everyone is staying safe.

I’d be amazed if this goes ahead but I’m still hopeful [emoji1].

Ever the optimist!

Doesn't look like their going to make any decision until next Sunday/Monday.
That's not going to help us travelling up the M6 on Friday........
I'm more than happy to look at another later date.

I think they are delaying any decision until after this weekend as they don't want to 'open the flood gates' on a bank holiday weekend.

I'm also up for looking at a later date this year.
