As a beginner I would like to know whether this trip is suitable for people with little experience, my main concern is if my boat is up to the task. I have a valiant three metre rib
and 15 HP two stroke. I am keen to gain experience in this field.

Yes it would be suitable for someone with limited experience but my personal opinion is 3m is just a little too small. I first went out in a 3.3m and this was a bit too small.
Is it a rib or sib?
15 hp will power a much bigger craft such as a Honwave T38 which is just one of many that would be very suitable. The engine is usually the most expensive part of any outfit.

Was thinking the same it's a rib.
But most boats on these trips seem to be around 3.8 -4.2

Hi Highland Haggis, I really want to be there but struggling with time.
What time would you be expecting to leave Largs on the Saturday morning and what time would you be expecting to be back at Largs on the Sunday.?

I quite fancy this, although I’d be in my SR4 and not a sib?

I’m also in an SR4. The trip is for sibs and the journeys are to be planned around their capabilities. I just join them [emoji1].

They're gas trips. I took a 10m rib to one but I hid it around the corner when I got there and hitched a ride...
