SIB club Round Portsmouth - Sunday 7 July 2013
I'm planning an epic circumnavigation of Portsmouth, anyone else fancy joining in? Yes, it clashes with the British Grand Prix, the Wimbledon Mens Singles Finals and the last day of the Henley Royal Regatta but you can't have everything in life!
The idea is to launch at Camber Dock in Old Portsmouth in the morning, head north up Portsmouth harbour past what's left of our Navy, then along Port Creek between the M27 and Portsea Island and into Langstone Harbour. We'll may stop off at the Ferryboat Inn on Hayling Island for lunch, or if the recent Tripadvisor reviews are to be believed we'll probably take sandwiches! Then it's out of the harbour and a right turn past Eastney and along the Southsea seafront and back into Portsmouth harbour completing the circuit.
Anyone else fancy coming along? Anything with an A-frame won't make it under the bridges at the top, but I'm sure we could arrange to meet up round the other side.

I'm very up for this, but can't do the 7th-I'm in Cornwall for 2 weeks starting the 6th July.
Any possibility of a different date?

Not really, sorry. I've had to struggle to fit it in as it is! We'll probably go go another SIB club jaunt in September though if that's any good?

Too much of a logistical nightmare I'm afraid.

Apart from the trip that I am looking forward too, I am keen to know how the bombard 380's are compared to mine. I do fancy one.
