I'm planning a pre chirtmas trip down to the Solent with the RIB between the 20th and 23rd of December. Weather permitting, is anyone up for a cruise around on one of those days? (Sub fivers especailly invited )

Cheers

Jugs of snakebite all round

(although I don't think the King's Head in yarmouth serves Snakey B's or supplies jugs )!

We're is Lymington from 24th midday. Possible a crazy idea of the whole family going for a blast on Christmas morning. Anyone know anywhere in Yarmouth likely to do Christmas Dinner at midday - yes we have gone crazy... but I bet there won't be many boats on the Solent!

But definitely aiming to be out 26+ for a few days. Who is likely to be around?

Cheers

Bruce

You could try 'The George' Bruce...Don't know if it's open then...but it's very £££££

...or some of the other hostelries...The King's Head is popular (mainly pub ; may not do dins)...and 'The Bugle'..... Slimtim might know more.

After Christmas

Probably can't make it before Christmas - some of us do have to work to pay for you students!

However, will definately be out on 27th and possibly even Boxing Day, Dependent on weather.
A gentle bimble over to the Pier View in Cowes has worked well the last two years.

Bruce, I don't know about any of the pubs in Yarmouth but I have a sneaky feeling the Kings Head is open for xmas meal...don't quote me on that though!

I'll be back from uni on the 21st and will be around until the 9th I think. Would love to meet up with people.

Cheers

Tim

I find that hard to believe

Sounds like a few little trips are planned...

And Yarmouth is always a popular venue Tim.

(Don't forget an open invite to the shebeen on the 11th (please send pm for details! http://ribsters.proboards22.com/inde...num=1099986450 ).
Also ...Nasher's 'Hot Dog Crimbo do' should be on the 13th)
