Request evidence before admitting guilt-if they've tried to get a speed by focussing the trap on the boat I doubt they'd be able to get an accurate reading.

Nos: sorry, on re-reading my post it is ambiguous!
The speed trap caught my car on he way to the marina, not the boat on the way from the marina!
Given that I was certainly in the location at the time given, was certainly driving the car and could well have been doing the speed claimed (for those that know the area Canford Cliffs Road is a wide straight road where a 40 mph limit would not be out of place) and that I have an otherwise clean licence, I don't propose to dispute it. Hey ho.
PS I wasn't towing the boat: merely on my way to it (if that's what you meant)!

Ahh I see.
I don't know why Canford Cliffs road has a 30 limit on either. Must be a local councillor lives on there...

Isn't this why we all have wives
as long as the picture does not show a male occupant then get the missus to take it for you.

What a moronic post.
If he did that he would most likely follow several others who have recently been jailed for lying about the identity of the driver. Recommending such a course of action is highly irresponsible and clearly shows your ignorance of the severe penalties available to the courts.
You also seem to have overlooked the fact that this gentleman has decided to admit that he broke the law on a public forum, so should anyone connected with the courts or police read these posts, it would be even more likely that he would get caught.

Ahhh Tim was wondering where you had got to.
My post was intended as a joke, unlike your huge range of moronic posts that we have all been exposed to where you offer advice that could endanger a life.
Why dont you go and make a nuisance of yourself somewhere else you idiot.

Chris' idea is well known.
BUT
my wife currently has more points than me and I'd rather keep the moral high ground on this one!
However: Tim, where do I admit that I broke the law and what is my identity?

Careful timw, someone might come along in a minute with no lifejacket and your state of flux may cause your trousers to implode.

In the case of imploding trousers does one stay with the trousers (and try to put them on) or (if one can) swim away?

I believe that depends on how oily the contents may be should they go down?

Nah - I'm now off the chair myself.
A wonderful New Year to you, Nos - and the same to all others who read this
(unless we see any of you on the water before then!)

Shame: would be good to see you.
The Nacho Run is on for Saturday (see other post in "Upcoming RIB cruises") and now that the lurgi is over I'm likely to be out (from Poole) before then. Hope to see some or all of you!
D.
