I will be there and hoping to start as early as possible - the forecast says the morning is rainy, so that may change my starting time!

We'll be out and about on Saturday - no fixed plans as yet but launching mid morning from SDS.

I don't think I can face getting up at 6:00am on a Saturday, then driving 2.5 hours, to then sit in light rain on a damp seat so I'm going to bail out as well. Shame as I really wanted to test the new prop.

Well I'm willing to put my boat where my oilskins are and take a chance on it.....

The Met Office forecast of rain all day contradicts their synoptic chart which shows clearing weather around midday with sunny spells after. XC Weather bears this out.

As a result, I am planning on coming out of Poole around 10.30 am and meeting TrevorG off Cowes at midday with a view to lunching at Ventnor around 1.00 pm (high tide there at 3.45 pm).

Anyone wanting to join/meet me/us is more than welcome. Weather dependant, I may return by the same route or come back straight to Poole. Trevor intends to return round the east side of the island.

We've got RIBs: let's use them!

David

Hello RIBnet guys & girls, I've just registered and look forward to meeting folk during the year. I was out today with Trevor G and Dave (Avocet), lunch in Ventnor and back with Dave via a lumpy St Cats. Mist and rain after we left the pub, now drying ready for the next trip sometime.
Look forward to meeting you.
Mike

Yup - it's the same Mike who owned "big Hot Lemon" - actually Hot Lemon V
(I think.)

His current one is Hot Lemon VI (or maybe I'm one out) and was the one that went round Ireland last year on the RI2013 cruise.

This is Hot Lemon VI with Baby Blue in Milford Haven last year just before the RI cruise:
