Solent / Alum Bay - Saturday 26 May 2007

It seems that Saturday is going to be the best day for us in the South so a picnic on the water has been called for.

Lynx, Sid 1 and Seahawk IV are off to Alum Bay for a picnic lunch. Leaving Chichester Marine between 9 and 10AM. Galaxsea III sadly not joining this time.

Anyone heading that way as well?

Well the picnic went ahead. The Alum Bay is a good location for such. The weather was quite good as there were only few clouds over the west side of IOW.
Met up on the way back with Merlin and enjoyed a blast together for a coffee to the Green Ship.

Lynx got involved in assisting a yachtie in distress. Then the club's rescue rib came out and took over the rescue operation. I gather Nautibouy took some pictures. For sure we picked the right day for the picnic
