Solent Blast

What great day out Blast from Portsmouth to Yarmouth, lunch and then back home for all of us. Thanks for the lift Andy. The one criticism that I have of your boat Andy is that it is not a good camera platform past 35 knots, or is it just that I'm not so good with a camera . The best that I could mange with my point and shoot.

Yes, fantastic day out. All my neighbours thought I was mad going out today, I just agreed with them. We don't want out little secret of how much fun we had to get out........Do we!

My Crewmember was great company, even if I couldn't hear what he was mumbling under that Facesave mask But would have liked to have seen his face after one or two of the heavy landings we had . It was a bit worrying to see him comming out the toilets at the Wheatsheaf with a camera in his hand but I now know why

Good company as usual, nice to see Neil out after all the problems that have dogged him at the latter part of the year. Was nice to meet some new blood in the form of the crew of "Dizzy Lizzy". Paul, was nice to finally see "Stormbreaker", I do look very comfortable sat up front, don't I? Toilets, Central heating, Tea/Coffee making facilities, Bed ........I'm not jealous I'd miss the Wet, Coldness of an open RIB too much

Took much the same photo's as you guys, bt might post one of Dizzy Lizzy once I get it down loaded to the computer.

End of report!

I had ice form on the tubes where I'd washed everything down, at least I didn't get wet when I leaned inside the RIB to switch off the power

Hi Guys - Thanks for a great day out on Monday - Sorry we didn't take any photos - It was too cold to take my camera out of my inner pocket - I should have been better prepared and kept it in a more accesible place considering the cold conditions!
Paul - Sorry about turning Storm Breaker into a mobile creche - the kids all had a great time though! Next time you can off-load Bryne on Dizzy Lizzy if it's above freezing.
It was good to meet you all and we look forward to doing it again soon - anyone out this weekend?.
Trevor

Is this the electrical problems you were having Neil. I seem to remember having my head stuck in your console trying to "mend" the problem not realising that you have a bloody horn in said console.

Imagine my reaction when that lot went off about 2 inches from my eardrum.

I did meen to ask Neil in the pub how he overcame the issues with the electrical system. But as usual with old age...I forgot

i have not been "dogged" by problems exactly... had a stupid engine fault, and that electrical issue where Chris blew his head off with the horn... yet to be properly fixed - need to fit a new master power switch I think, but it is an intermittent fault, and OK most of the time. Other than that, just nopt been able to get out much, and am staying more weekends en Suisse
