Have you considered Calshot?
We'll be launching at the Camber. Perhaps we could cruise over with the Port Solent lot.....

Launching
Hi All,
I will be launching from the Eastney Cruising Association's Slipway inside Langstone Harbour.
Perhaps meet up with peeps launching on the Hayling side then saunter down into pompey harbour and meet the others? Alternatively Head out and meet the guy's traveling from Littlehampton?
All sugestions welcome

"P.S. Please update the thread if there are errors or if we've forgotten anyone!"
I will also have Howard (Zippy) and GF, also my Dad & Steph, plus your good selves Kathleen & Paul and possibly Sarah (aka Kenny)
Spoke with Andre and plan is to meet SEAHAWK IV and Ageing Youth just off Portsmouth Harbour, to be decided as yet.

So, let me just get this right......
Is the general consensus to launch around 8-8.30am??!!
If this is the case, it'll either mean a super early start or a night in a B+B
I don't mind which but I'm keen to sort it out so I can try to press gang a crew in time!

Tim G. is always generous with the advice if anyone is anxious about safe launch times to make it to The Folly (OK all states) for 12.32 but also back in good time!

The Lightship is a Restaurant/bar across from Camber, we will come into Camber and meet you in there then go across and meet the others at the Lightship. If we meet you just off the slipway at say 10.45am then we'll go across to the Lightship.
