No, Chris. But they're always friendly and welcoming at The Folly and were very good about the prospect of us cancelling on the day if weather turns out bad

Biggles , please see list (a few posts back). Difficult to estimate exact numbers but it's approaching 80 at the moment (Father Christmas is only visible if You Have Been Good All Year )

Richard (rickuk3) thanks loads for all your Met Office work. You're fab!

Fair enough. I think these are all a bit big for her anyway- smallest I have is up to 5' tall and quite a small waist but the boots are size 8 so wouldn't be safe.

Looking at breakfast now. Does anyone know anywhere on the M3/M27 enroute to Warsash that could supply a nice breakfast on Saturday.
Or could we get one on the water in the Warsash area.
Ideally I'd like to meet Nos4r2 after the M3 joins the M27 and enroute to Warsash.

Biggles, there are two places I can think of really...

One is tescos at bursledon, if you come off of the m27 at junction 8, up to the round about, and straight accross, there should be plenty of room to park your car/boat in the carpark somewhere there.

The other place, is the Moodys boat yard, they do a nice breakfast in there, a little pricey, but nice food. For that one, again come off of the M27 at junction 8, and head down the M27 towards fareham. You will go under a train bridge, and then down to a set of traffic lights, turn right at those lights for moodys, tell the guy o n the gate you are getting breakfast and you should be fine. If you decide to eat there, as you come out, turn right, go up the hill.. at the top of the hill, you will see a big green on the right hand side, take the right just after that... go to the bottom of that road, and turn right, and you will be on the road down into warsash, turn right at that roundabout and you will be on the way down to the slipway!

Give me a call if the above isnt clear 07730679116

Benc,

Must admit Tescos came straight to my mind. I frequent it reguarly at night (oooh ha), but have always found it shut when I'm there about 2100 hrs. Is it open in the morning ?

Then I was worried about getting the boat nicked but hopefully all the thieving Chavs will be sleeping off hangovers at that time. just have to remember to put the wheel clamp on.

Safe trip Bogib and three guesses as to which other Icelander might be coming along?

Regards to Steinunn

Allegedly someone has got hold of battery Christmas lights for his RIB!!!

Anyone else out there considering joining in would be most welcome. It's still windy around the Solent but rickuk 3's forecasts are predicting better things.

Note: Nauti Senior will prob be onboard N/B/

(Paul's mob is 07790 551442. Not a bad idea to have a few mobile no's (& a mobile ) onboard in case of last-minute changes. Anyone else who doesn't mind their mob. no. being in the public domain, please post )

What are the timing plans? All I can remember is 12:32 at the folly. Anyone going from Lymington/yarmouth (Ian M??) and is there going to be a meet up outside Cowes before decending on the Folly?
