Hide the booze and say they have drunk it all.
If that fails, get up and go to bed....

Big thanks to everyone for coming and making it such an enjoyable weekend of boating, BBQing and banter. Extra special thanks, of course, to the Jackeens for their generous hospitality (once again) - Suzuki Pete was so impressed that he's moving in!
Great to see everyone again and meet new friends.
Thanks also to Rogue Wave for looking after me today when I was too poorly to go out boating.
See you all soon.

Unsung hero...
Whilst Paul and Kathleen generously provided a barbecue of galhoonian proportions and I can say that I've never had so much to eat at a barbecue before, Paul's mate Steve spent all evening outside (yes, outside!) working the two barbecues to keep us all well fed.
Nice one Steve!
(And the potato & spinach [& feta cheese?] dish was great, Caroline).

I need to find out who had the best room!!!!
How do I get adopted?
My name plates now made up for the door!
What times breakfast Paul?
Many thanks anyway to both the Jackeens...
The weekend would not have been the same without them"!"
Louise & Richard also did a sterling job
My uncle spent 2 1/2 hours sitting in the channel on a Ferry on Saturday - trying to get back into Dover after a day trip to France.
Was surprised to hear we in it!!
Had a really good time, things went up when I heard that Steve (the Chef) was an Arsenal Supporter as well! - Quality shows
Anyone looking for a Johnson 70 Prop - low mileage , careful owner, tested in Extreme conditions! - not complete though!
Pete

Hi everyone I am back at work at last after spending the weekend in Fareham, it was pleasure meeting you all again whose I have meet earlier and nice seeing new faces behind their names on this fantastic forum which defenately makes the world smaller and brings people together around this interest. Kathleen and Paul thank you for your generous hospitality during the stay and Paul and Steve you where great chefs at the BBQ maybe I should hire you two to do spring BBQ over here soon !!! It´s nice to meet both bosses again JK and JF both of you are doing great jobs in keeping us together wherever we are located around the world. Richard and Louise many many thanks for picking me up at Heathrow and getting me safe and sound back especially after the ride back to Soton I barely could move myself out of the aircraft although flying on business class with plenty of legspace and wide seat. I defenately needs to start exercising to be satisfactory fit again. Ian and Deborah congratulation with Black Jack it was great ride from Soton to Portsmouth and I wish you all the best for your endevour. Suzuki Pete nice meeting you and I will find some extreme modified Vitara´s over here just to show you how to do things professionally not like yours "sledge 4x4" with only 29" tires which is only a mini tires. Wavehumper you are definately married to Dane "Scandinavian" with good humour. Again my sincere thanks to "my other mum and dad" for taking good care of me over the weekend and sorry "mum" I completely forgot to congratulate you on Mothers day, but as we say over here better is late than never so HAPPY MOTHERS DAY
Bogi

What can I say? Just got into the office and still "buzzing"! What a hoot! Thank you all very much for your company on Sunday with a special thanks to Ian and Debs, for letting me drive their new toy. Joanne (other half) is complaining of earache this morning after all the babbling I did when I got home last night. It was a real pleasure to meet such sociable and pleasant people and I hope to do it again real soon with my own boat as well.

Glad to hear that you all had such a good time. We will get to the Shabeen one day.
Richard - we have already met - albeit at a distance of 10m - during the return of Mr Priddy to Portsmouth. I've got the piccys to prove it.
