OK. The kitchen's on the port side (left, if you're facing forward) and the hall is off to starboard. Which could also be left if you're facing the stern. Hence the use of these highly nautical terms.

Ah stop it now JW...should've left the port alone last night all of us.
Now you'll get us in trouble with JK.

Not sure if we saw ye. We did go to Bembridge with AY and Katherine and met Steve Care & family.
Then we had a little spin around the forts.

We tried taking pictures going through the wash but found that all efforts were reqd to hold on and the pictures were of either sea or sky.
Finally started to get to grips with trim, bow down, the boat seems more controllable, she doesnt fly off wave tops but top end speed is less, however it is extremely difficult to get near top end speed anyway, that apparently smoothish water is a lot rougher at 28 knots plus!!!I am currently using a hand held garmin velcroed to the console but have only been able to check speed up to 28 knots on the log where it appears to read about half a knot fast.
As a rag and stick man,the "getting places" ability of the RIB really do astound me,Ryde at 2-3 hours on the sailng boat is half an hour in the RIB.It gave me great pleasure to speed past all those yachts sitting there becalmed with sails slatting.
I am also embarrassed to admit that on wooton/fishbourne pontoon, the start in gear protection got me,I tried to start the engine but it was dead, after spending half an hour checking wiring, engine cowl off etc,Sue was fiddling with the throttle and that suddenly sent realisation through my brain, problem solved, throttle was slightly off neutral-DOH!!

Hello to All,
What a great day out on Sunday Thanks Paul & Kathleen, We too had seen the sights QM2 Sailing up the Solent at approx 09:15Hrs then off to explore the Needles, Yarmouth & Cowes.
Lunch at Bembridge was interupted by a call to tow in a friends broken down speed boat last seen tied up to South Parade Pier being bombarded by fishermen trying to catch him
P & K Sorry we did not catch you up took longer than expected then my electrics decided to pack up compleatley. As yet know idea what went wrong will look further this week.
Cheers
