Well, I'm a poor impoverished student feeling the effects of the credit crunch, so I want to save some cash! I'm up for Newport.

Pete
A bit extra time would allow some contingency for siezed brakes and leaking fuel connectors to be repaired which nos encountered last time.
we plan on leaving swindon at 7 getting out of poole by 10 at the latest so should be OK for time.

Okay, Nasher has just phoned, we are going to meet at the Lightship at Haslar about 1100 - 1115 hrs and take a slow run up to Yarmouth. If we are early we can just sit in the harbour and wait. Anyone else who would like to join in you're most welcome.

Pete

Have got permission from Mrs A to come out and play tomorrow so am up for it! Would prefer Newport since never been there but am happy with Yarmouth if that's what peeps want. The only problem I can see is early fog: there was a thick bank off Barton last Sunday and couldn't see the Hurst shingle bank on the way to Lymington until the last minute!

Can launch (dry stack) at any time tomorrow after 9.00 am. Assuming Nos and Doggypaddle are launching at Baiter can RV with them for 10.00.

BassBoy: are you up for this too? Have room on my boat if you want. Will check with John D and Jnr this evening (but Jnr's kids start their half-term today - a week early! - and he may have other plans).

Was in the same fog last weekend , but the wind tomorrow 'should' take care of any of that. I am heading out of Christchurch at around 10.30, unfortuantley now to Cowes (Folly) to meet brother in law in his boat & as its not a RIB he wont go all the way from Portsmouth to Yarmouth so I have to go to him !

Good job we didn't meet each other in the fog!

Assuming a successful RV at Baiter at 10.00, we should be passing X'church around 10.30. Will keep an eye out for you and will be monitiring VHF 16 and 77.

I'm going to try launching at Haslar for a change, should be meeting up with Hightower and maybe Pete7 to launch, then RV at the lightship 11:00 to 11:15 as Pete has already said.

I've a couple of spare seats if anyone wants to tag along.
Been let out on my own for a change

Nasher.

well I made it home this weekend, just, so will be out tomorrow.

Pete, Nasher, if I don't see you guys on the way, will meet you at Yarmouth.

I'll be listening to 77, and probably leaving Drivers at 11ish, so down at Calshot at about 11:30-11:45

See you all tomorrow

PS - Nos - shall I bring back those 2 drysuits?? Or will you have nowhere to put them on the way back??

I am launching out of Christchurch around 10.30, aiming to be at the Run for 10.50.

None of my business Nos, but if I had the choice of launching from Baiter or Christchurch, I would choose Christchurch. It has a nice steep slip, so no need to take the trailer off the car and on the way back up the river, you get a fresh water engine flush from the river!

May well depend on which route you take down in the car, as too which you find easier
Regards
Steve

Andy

Please note that an RV at the lightship at 11:00 can be anywhere between 11:00 and 11:30
Although we will try.

I'll be on 77 in 'The Nashers Revenge' if you want to give us a shout.

Nasher
