I may well make it down to the Searider cruise anyway but was thinking more of October as we did last year.
I will start up another thread in the correct section as I have just realised this is in the wrong place

Solent End of Summer Blast 5th October?
Tim & Jimbo,
Why mess with a great format....
http://rib.net/forum/showthread.php?t=21217
You guys did a great job of getting everyone out for this one for the last few years and chance of a repeat performance this year
Had a great time last year especially seeing 20 RIBS hooning it round the needles for the camera (Slim Tim)
I will be there anyway so if anyone sees a lone Osprey charging round in circles at the Needles with a lunatic jumping around in the back (Matt H I assume you are coming?) on the 5th of October say hi.

Bugger, 5th is out for us as we have a family event on.
Would have loved to join in.
we need another Ribnet classic day out, and this could be it.

I some how think the weather will dictate dates, like it has all summer.
How about a Clockwise trip around the Island with a stop at Yarmouth for a late lunch?

I think last years worked really well it gave everyone time to meet up at cowes then a quick hop to Yarmouth for lunch followed by a trip to the needles. A few of us then continued round the island. This way if people are not up for a big one they can just head back after Yarmouth or Needles

Hopefully will have my boat fixed in time-I have an issue with one tube now that I don't want to tackle myself.

Nothing major, water got under the rubbing strake and the pressure peeled it back, lifting the end of the reinforcing on the end of the strake. Needs sorting before it's used again or it'll make a mess.
