No, nothing serious. Just waiting on a new oil pump, just to make sure. Plus the stainless and the upholstery.

Andy,
Looking like Friday will be okayish. Less wind than today and saturday.
If you want to get your head down for a few hours after your night shift I am quite happy to make it an afternoon do. Meeting up at Cowes for a late lunch.
Nothing worse than staying up after nights. You'd probably feel a lot better making it an afternoon do.
Nick.

I'm going to pull out of tomorrow, too much going on. The Boats back, but no stainless or seat cushions
I might go out for a blast around mid day, but tides aren't good for me and I think the sea state will be too rough without anything to brace yourself against properly.

Andy,
No Probs, We are going to launch a little bit later and hang around between Cowes and Pompey. Maybe pop in to Wooton Creek. And poss spend a bit of time fishing and enjoying the waves.
Phone me if you want to meet up. I'll also be on channel 77.
Nick.

I'm planning to sleep till 9:30 then go down the upholsterers for 10 to deal with my "Awkward" seat back design and tp pickup two seat bases. Then back home for me and possibly might see me from 12 onwards, I'll give you a call either by radio or phone Nick, I've got a 19" viper prop to try out so will try my hardest.

Andy,
No probs, hope your boy gets well soon. We'll do some exploring round the hard to get places seeing as high tide is near mid day.
Nick.

Probably a wise idea not to go out today. Certainly up to about 1400 hrs. There was a high wind blowing from the North and a very high tide today. Got a little bit concerned when a fisherman told me that it was too rough for them to fish. Just launched at Warsash and headed for Portsmouth after drawing level with Ryde decided to cross on over to the Island and make for Cowes as Portsmouth seemed to be taking a long time to get to. Things really hotted up off the headland East of Cowes. Waves coming from everywhere. Decided to spend a few hours in Cowes and wait for the wind to ease off. After lunch it was a good blast back to Southampton water where we carried out some "MOB" and "Coming To drills". Had an early finish and even managed to get home by 1700 hrs. Thats an early finish !
Only managed to get a couple of pics due to having to hang on whilst at sea. Both taken at Cowes Town Quay.
Pic 1) - I decided to run two ropes from the bow. The second one was needed because the wind and tide was pushing the front of the boat under the pontoon. The second rope pulled it away and stopped any disasters whilst having lunch.
Pic 2) - Shows one a poor unloved RIB that had taken on tons of water and was left to just slop around.
