Solent / IoW / Needles - 11th November

Hi all,

Planning a trip out of somewhere around Hamble on 11th November heading to the IoW for lunch and a trip to the Needles.

Aiming to get on the water around 10AM or possibly a bit earlier.

We're based in Hamble, so weather permitting will possibly join you. We normally launch at about 11.00 from Hamble Point.

Excellent, what boat have you got, and what's the name? Is 69 a good vhf channel to use down there for group-group comms?

We usually use Ch72 for boat to boat and listen out on 16.

Just a quick update to say this is still happening. I think we 4-5 boats at present.
I've dismantled my console, so under pressure to reassemble in time now!

Hi, yep we are still going. Around 5-6 boats at the moment.
Most seem to be launching Warsash around 9AM.
Personally I'm thinking of launching at Hamble Point and bending over on the fees for the easy life of secure parking and steeper slipway

Update: launching around 8 then mustering with the others at Warsash 9 ish. We'll be on ch69
