Solent - November sometime ?
Following a change of base for Nestor (now in Poole for the winter) I realised its been a while since there was a proper meeting in the solent of the 'usual suspects' .
Is anyone up for a lunch trip - maybe Cowes ? Is there potential to do an early Christmas lunch much like last year to the folly ?
I'd be keen to see Matth on/in his new toys for one
Pete

Am around Nov. 13th/14th accompanied by my son and his girlfriend.
Taking him on a trip to UK as he is on break from his chemical therapy.
We are to spend the weekend somewhere between Poole and Portsmouth.

Hi Pete
Could be up for this and may do as Andre did last year of offering seats on the Parker from Southampton, for those without boats.

Hi Bogi , is it just that weekend you are around , or just that weekend with your son ? 13th/14th I 'may' not be able to do due to commitments with my kids .....I am sure we will have room for all ( especially if Steve is about & Avocet is not one to miss out)
Next Saturday (6th) looks OK for weather at the moment , windier in the afternoon but Northerlies so should be fine - is that too soon for everyone ?
Portsmouth high water is 10.50 ish so should be OK for Launching , but recovery may be 'harder' a few hours later ..........

Jolly to The Folly
Only just seen this thread. I'm free on either 13th or 14th and with neap tides have access in and out of the marina all day so The Folly looks good.
I'll need to scrounge a seat somewhere if the cruise takes palce after the 16th as Grimalkin goes to Yeovil then for some minor work at Ribcraft, so I'll be off the water for a short time but hope to be back as soon as possible thereafter.
David

I also now can't do the 14th but can do the 13th for which the weather is currently looking reasonable if you don't mind the possibility of a light shower or two.
Anyone want to go over from Poole or meet at Cowes/The Folly?
David
