Solent on Sat 26th or Sun 27th Sept?

Anyone out and about this weekend?
Maybe Nachos in Yarmouth for lunch, or Ventnor or Bembridge as the tides are high at lunchtimes?

Trev

Thanks very much Trevor, but the reason the trailer is not getting attended to this weekend is because of family duties. Sometimes I have to be a responsible father or so I am told
Hopefully see you on the water soon.

Likewise, the round IOW was brilliant . Superb flat seas and blue sky with lots of sun. A bit chopping only at Ventnor . Photos and GoPro to follow

Here are a few photos and as you can see it was a day for a cruise round IOW.
Maintained a comfortable speed of 25 knots most of the way. Fuelled up in Yarmouth so used approx. 60 ltrs of diesel from Southampton Dry Stack to Yarmouth heading clockwise RIOW

Whisper sorry you were not here this weekend you could have come along

first clip of Round the IOW . this was taken just before Ventnor and the sea conditions there were the worst of the whole trip. Nevertheless it still was an exciting ride

I was testing a rib. Went out to the needles for a bit looking for some waves but it was completely flat There were loads of people on the beach near to the needles, which I had never seen before.

Spoke to Trev but they were still in Poole so had to head back in.

Picked up a good summer tip of a cafe around the corner from Alum bay, apparently you anchor and a tender comes out and gets you

I think we should have a winter BBQ if this weather keeps up
