Ze Masterplan Rev Z.37
Awesome, so...
Chichester Marina 10.30(ish)
Richard - Nauti Buoy
Haslar Area 11.00
Jackeens – Merlin
Tcwozere– Xanthus
Dave & Harry - TomBuoy
Dave, Rich and Jimmy – UPSC 1
Forts Area 11.15
Lurcher - Longdog
Outandabout - Arrow flight
Calshot 11.30
Tim M - Cormorant
Jimbo – Stevie
Lymington xx.xx
Ian M - XS Rib
Plan is to all RV en mass at Calshot 11.30 (with the exception of Ian M) and steam over to Yarmouth in time for lunch. (Possibly via Cowes to pick up slimtim )
We will be on channel 72 as well as 16 for the trip.
As per the usual, all Skippers are responsible for themselves and their crew, and this is not an 'official' event. However, there will as always be a positive group spirit, and naturally we will assist any ribnetter that gets into difficulties as far as we can!

I hope that you have a great day and we look forward to the photo's.

(We even thought about hitching a ride with The Jackeens, but they are not sure that they will be able to make it now.)

We are out on the Thames on Saturday but we are all thinking about an early start on Sunday morning and coming down to Calshot for an IOW lunch!
Once I know for def I'll post again.
If we come there will be my Ribtec (Northern Exposure 3) and the big Avon (Barrier II) with us again.
So fingers crossed we'll see you at Calshot at 1130!

Tis a real shame, but we understand that January isn't for everybody! Now, what's this we hear about the Jackeens not coming? They were boating in December, so they can't possibly use weather as their excuse!!

Richard, Martin and I will be out there on Sunday weather permitting, if is too rough or too wet we wont be out as will have little ones with us so need to keep it safe. We wont be joining you folks for lunch over in cowes or whereever you are meeting as we have other plans now to take care of but we may see you on the water. Have a good trip.

Hey there is a whale in the River Thames outside the Houses of Parliament!!!
I therefore have decided not to go out on the Thames for a blast but actually float a whale AND M.P. watching company instead!!!
Will try to get some pictures for you all with London tourist attractions in the background.

Awesome Ian! This boating malarkey is more for Admirals than Colonels I've found!

I guess you changed your destination or were running late?
Hope you all had a good day, looked real nice out there.

Sorry to missed you Tim.
We didnt get there until about half one in the end due to a breakdown (well we had three breakdowns in the end but this was a result of the first one). Apart from that a very enjoyable day out was had by all. Jimbo's Ausie/Kiwi friend kept us entertained with comments like "if I can't have children Im blaming you" - he had never been in a RIB before
I think all three of the student boats (Cormorant, UPSC 1, and Stevie) ran out of petrol at some point today - shows just how poor us poor and lowly students are!
Thanks very much to CJL as well for letting us all have a go in your RIB! I'm sure lots of photos will be posted in due course. I have a fair bit of video (took my video camera along) which I will put up shortly.
And of course thankyou to the man at the fuel pontoon in Yarmouth; your quick and friendly service is such a credit to the harbour (check that sentance for sarcasm)
