Please note this event has been CANCELLED .
After much careful thought by the organisers and after consultation with weather forcasters we have made the decision not to run this event this weekend.

It's a shame the weather's not good and you have to cancel Martin. Particularly after all your hard work. But well done for prioritising the needs of others especially kiddies & crew. No fun in bad conditions.
Hope you all consider running with another date.
Many thanks,
Us

sorry to hear that Martin, I hope your organisation efforts are not completely wasted and can be transfered to another date.
Are you going to come along to support team Lunasea at Stokes Bay?

What a Bummer for you, Martin. You've obviously been hoping that the weather will improve, but it just ain't happened. Thanks for the initial invite and all the subsequent hard work; sorry that on this occasion it's come to nought.
We'd love to support this event again if you rescheduled.

Thanks for the update martin.
Like others say, hope the event will still happen on a later date and that your efforts do not go to waste.
If the weather holds off we will probably be found on VHF channel 77 in the solent somewhere, maybe lunch in yarmouth.
Thanks again.

We're going round to see the Zapcats & cheer on Craig's team (Luna Sea) but the viewing might be better from shore
If we do push the boat out we could toddle up to Calshot & accompany Ben & crew. A few others will be around also. Will phone you back in a while Andy S.

Starts at 12.00 so (if we push the boat out ) Calshot 11.30. We are favouring driving around at the minute because there's nowhere to stop at Stokes really Ben apart from drop anchor and hang around...could be miserable?
The atmosphere on land was good last time & probably best for viewing/photos as the beach is steep.

Don't worry about meeting us... the weather is unpredictable today, so will probably just head over to cowes or yarmouth and have lunch... didn't realise the weather looked bad today (until I opened the curtains just now)
Thanks for your very kind offer though, maybe I will come and see the races tomorrow...
Thanks again
Ben

You're welcome.
Frustratingly (for Martin & RSYC) Metcheck is showing F3/4 with balmy S - SW.
So it should be grand. Have a glance North-eastwards as ye head to Cowes & ye may see some Zapcattin' action.
