Yes I was lucky - shows the value of always stopping after a few miles to check all is OK Wheel was beginning to smoke when I pulled over
MHB100 was an absolute star- brought over his tool kit and proceeded to strip down and adjust the misbehaving the hub - and explaining the mysteries of brake systems and adjustments whilst I handed him spanners and mugs of coffee- then he decided the other wheel needed "checking" (aka servicing) as well. Then went for test tow - no heat, all well, no lastingl damage
We then carried on into the afternoon sorting out the winch post and bow rollers which I had been intending to tackle "one day when I had time"
, and we found some lighting board faults and spent 2 "happy"
hours sorting out trailer and lightng board electrics.
So a very productive day albeit not the one planned, and many thanks to MHB100 for lending his expertise and experience to someone else's boat
