Solent SIBs - Sunday 27 May 2012

I know that lots of sibbonauts will be down at Lulworth for the weekend, but I'm planning a Sunday afternoon jaunt in the Solent area as an alternative.

Plan A is to launch at Camber Dock in Portsmouth and head over to Ryde for ice creams.

Plan B, if the weather is windy but generally OK is to launch at Itchenor and bimble round Chichester harbour.

Anyone else want to play?

I'm a possible John - weather depandant of course ...

Too much going on to be able to commit to Lulworth - but family etc is to the East of me so easier to tie things together.

Weather looks pretty good so far, anyone want to join us in Ryde for an ice-cream? SIB or RIB, doesn't matter!

We've made a command decision to go to East Head beach in Chichester Harbour. Planning to launch at Itchenor around 10.00, hoping to beat the worst of the traffic.

Why not come round from Portsmouth and join us?

Will attempt to come round from Southampton. Launching at Ichen Bridge slip around 1100 - 1200. Will be bashing into an easterly.

Didn't exactly beat the traffic, but made it in the end. Busy at East Head today!

I made it from southampton, yes very busy. Cruised in and straight out.
