Sorry to hijack this thread for a moment...
We fancy another cross channel jaunt or two this year so do let us know please. Also, Dan, once TB has gone you, Tappy & Laura are always welcome on Blue Ice.

Hey Daniel
No worries !
To summarise. Hopefully we will all be able to go for a spin in The Solent if it ain't blowing a Force 8. You're one of the few who braved it last year !
Destinations : The Harbour (Pompey or your nearest )and a Bar if it's blowing a hooley.
Cowes if it's choppy and nippy (nautical terms)
Yarmouth if it's a brilliant day.
Peeps from Lymingtom might decide only to do Yarmouth depending on conditions.
Stop offs to be confirmed yet as they may involve Osborne Bay or Alum Bay instead of Cowes & Yarmouth cos of numbers.
There ya go.
The plan firms up as we get better weather details.
'twill be excellent altogether to see you & your cool crew.

We'll definitely be along, but looking like just one of the two days. Expect we will launch out of Chich as normal, but we may tow over to Lymington and lauch there if we are feeling daring!
Look forward to seeing you all soon
Bill & Janet

Richard
That would be great. Do you normally launch in the marina or elsewhere? I'll PM our mobile number while I remember and we can sort out where to meet up nearer the time.
Janet
Anyone else launching from east of the solent/LAmpton etc?

Janetb Bill & Nauti Bouy.
I will be launching from Northney. Do you fancy meeting up near the entrance? The tide is not right for a Langstone exit. I will try not to dissapear off into the wide blue yonder, never to be seen again, this time.
Any other Chichester launchers?

Here is an updated list of those hoping to go for a blast on the weekend of 12/13 March in the Solent. If you have been inadvertently missed out… huge apologies and please leave a message or PM asap.
(Accommodation is sorted now. NB please send a pm or indicate on here (IF YOU HAVEN’T ALREADY DONE SO) if you will be around Sat night as some of us will be going for grub (BYO) in a cool ribster dude’s house. )
We’ve tried to add launch areas (haven’t been too specific as regards which slip/ wharf etc.) Looking at a start time @ 10.30/ 11.00.??? Any strong preferences at this stage? Would nearer high water suit better?
When all launch sites are confirmed we’ll regroup the list accordingly so a mini muster can take place in each area (e.g. Pompey : The Lightship etc.)That way each smaller group can look out for each other. If you get a chance please let us know by pm if your launchsite is incorrectly marked or missing
(BTW : just added in ‘& crew’ because of being unsure if you’ll have others along)
