It seems like a cue for loads of Mrs Slocum references to frantic cats.

Huh, you were quick enough to accuse your guests of blocking the loo a couple of weeks ago. Do I need to bring my marigolds next time, or are Dyno-Rod on standby?

Now, Peter, you've not met our cat... our cat is the management round here! And more of a ruffian (galhoonian?) than Mrs Slocum's pussy

Off the Water!

Hi everyone,

Well things are getting pretty hectic at the moment. I am in the middle of packing up and getting ready to move house (again).

I will be unable to make this w/end trip However, there will be a house warming due very soon.

Barbecue's at the ready. Will send out all the details soon.

Have a great time.

Long time waiting

Just spoke to Ian & DM. They will be down to launch the new arrival on 20th.

It's a big occasion for Ian & Debs really...getting their new boat is very exciting & they've been planning this for a while!!!

Some other VIPs will also be there...and Stuart, Intrepid Captain of (the SIB) Ocean Spear is thinking of accompanying the flotilla...weather permitting...otherwise he'll crew...

Robin...seems a good time to try out your new boat also!!!Will try to phone you later.

Ta for the call AY...will spring clean the BBQ ready for the next 'do'...
By the way we'll try to have an Irish theme for the BBQ so if you're all not too sore at us for the Trouncing at Twickers then an oul green shirt in honour of the Welshman St. Paddy would be highly appropriate...

Missus

Solent March 20/21

Looks like the list is growing, looking forward to meeting all down there.
'Black Jack' is ribs name for your list K. Do you want to let us all know what you want us to bring to the BBQ nearer the time.

After playing, sorry I meant working, on Jono's new 6.5m this weekend I can't wait to get my hands on mine!

You OK to take 10 peeps on your new RIB Ian? (!!!)

BTW no need to bring dripping meat on the train!!!!!

A bottle or tinny under the armpit always goes down well but we still have the stash Waver left here on his brief recent visit.

Upto 12. Could do with a few onboard to see how it handles.

No meat just 4 or 5 flasks of coffee!

No problem, 12 passengers + 2 crew so me, the 'Troll' and twelve others. I think Mattiboy may be down as well, can't remember if he said he was coming along.

March can be glorious, as in 2003! Optomistic or what?
Pro Sport have from Tuesday 16 until Saturday 20 AM to deliver so I am hoping for a good weather slot for the crossing.
I've asked for delivery to Southampton but do you have any better suggestions for overnighting on a pontoon? i.e. shorter channel distance.

Warsash...H'Master Pontoon (on right by big tower & Rising Sun Pub) ...OR HASLAR (bit further along (remember we brought you in there last visit?) ...we can arrange a berth for you in advance...

We're thinking of dropping ours in at Haslar. Might be good to meet Robin that side & Peter and SC in Pendragon ???

I take it that's after the champagne and guiness!
I'll bring some Bailey's so MeMe is there in 'spirit' if not in body.

And for the non-Oirish amongst us who don't possess green clothing, would it be OK to wear black in honour of the new arrival?
