Great weekend!

From Ian Austin's arrival on Friday to his departure this morning everything has been brill!

Most unexpected...Zeb off cruising 3 days in a row! The weather was kind so we made it to Cowes (13 of us ! ) on Saturday and 10 of us to The Lighthouse (also Cowes) yesterday.

Great craic altogether.
(Really sorry Whiteshoes...didn't make Yarmouth yesterday..we was worried about the fog etc. Sorry to have missed ye. Hope to catch up soon...)

And the shebeen got a great send off too ...forty or so of you round to celebrate the season and our house move. (The man's just hammered in the 'sold' sign and we're out on Friday !!!) The student drinking game as launched by SlimTim kept us up till three Saturday night (excellent )....never mind...we dragged ourselves out again yesterday ...Ian's Pacific proved a popular boat ! And Olly and Amy had a great time in the Olly's Searider.
Zeb had loads of fun as usual ! Expertly driven by our local Powerboater Carl !

Full house again last night and saw Ian off early this morning.

He's just 'phoned from Weymouth. He and his brilliant Pacific are munching through the waves and he'll let us know when he's passed Portland.

Lovely memories we'll have of our last gathering in HillHead ... it was really lovely to see so many fantastic peeps this weekend and hope to see you all soon again.

Will let you know how Ian's trip goes.
Photos will probably appear on Kim's site to save space here so we'll do a link there too.

Thanks again to our wonderful vistors and houseguests. It's humbling to realise how many great people are 'out there'.

Kathleen & Paul xxx

Ian Austin. The Return Trip.

OK he's just phoned from Lyme Bay having jumped a few waves off Portland
(They must have been big to lift that big baby out of the water )

He says it's all calm now and he's doing the home stretch on a few sandwiches and a fag.

missus

Thanks missus
Had a wicked weekend good trip up 5hrs including fuel stop in Weymouth and used less than £30 of fuel.

very much enjoyed the trips on Saturday and Sunday and meeting the Solent ribbers.

The party, hospitality and the friends i made over the weekend were second to none.

Good trip back fun around Portland but uneventfull.

See you again in the Spring.
