Hmm not sure what weather website you use but Metcheck and bbc both forecast rain or even snow on Wednesday and Thursday for Southampton.

Mind you ribbing in snow might be fun !!

Rain and snow don't worry me, the wind does however and the wind is calming down for Wednesday .

I'd love to RIB in snow, specially as I've not tested my Gecko in either the wet or white stuff yet.

I am really looking forward to seeing out 07 in style tomorrow though.

Well, what a great day!

Left Drivers about 0945 with Nos on board, met Matt H and Chris with their ribs by Hythe, motored down Southamppton water and off into the Solent for a play, then over to Portsmouth, where we met Roy Smith, PhilB and Hightower.

Quick trip over to Cowes with much playing and the usual welcome lunch at Folly before making our way home. Some pics to follow, and hopefully Chris might have some vid action too?

Hope all got home ok

Was nice to get out today.

Was a nice little blast across to Cowes, wasn't it. Some guy in a Sea Rider kept chasing me just outside Just because he didn't have Blue tubes like the rest of us did.....

Was a bit busy in the Folly, wasn't it? Still, nice to thaw out a bit.

Was nice to see you again Matt, glad your flu and colds have disapeared. I bet you cream crackered now?

I really like those Scorpions. Did look very smart, even though they copied my colour scheme . So you guys doing a round Britain in 08 then?

Chris, love to see what video you captured today, Danny boy really looked nice and was a great performer with the new Etec.

Great photo's Neil, sorry we didn't take any. My crew mate (landlubber) was busy holding onto anything he could. I suggested he stand behind the front seat back so he'd have something more suitable to hold onto, I got some great air just outside Cowes on the way back (anyone see it) and he smashed his face against the seat back....Ooopps. Bit his lip, now looks like someone's smacked him one But it wouldn't be a good day if you didn't hurt yourself.

Had a nice gentle cruise back to Portsmouth and managed 5000rpm and 39.5 knotts, so pretty impressed with that.

Recovery was a little difficult as the slip was covered with thick weed, never mine just burnt it away with the tyres smoke everywhere

Got in about 7.15 and I'm worn out! Cheers Neil, that was a most enjoyable day Was nice to meet up with everyone again.

Matt H's new searider is about as mental as the owner and goes very well indeed. Most impressed!

Seeing as there were a few of us west country lads on this one I have started the video with some appropriate music!

Loved the Vid! All your missing is the scantily clad women to accompany the Benny Hill music
