Solent tomorrow Saturday 16th

Anyone out? We are leaving from Lymington in the morning and would love to meet up with other boats (socially distanced)?

We nipped out this morning, flat seas and very quiet for other craft, nice to be floating again

Why waste that time and resource in deploying the AWB? if the people are OK let them wait for the tide & float off - they may learn more of a lesson sitting there for a few hours, and they'll be maintaining social distancing

Harsh?

I hate to be "that guy" but the law states you can only meet up with one other person outside your household and should 1:1.

I'm not sure planning to meet people is in the spirit of the rules. The more people push the boundaries, if the R increases the sooner we will all be locked down even tougher.

The trouble is with 5 on board including kids they will try and go ashore and try and return.

If the ALB is needed for proper work it will be re-tasked

The ALB may well need a run out if it's not been out for weeks. And there may be public messages to be had about people rushing out on the water the first chance they get.

We are also assuming reason they got there is stupidity rather than equipment failure

As well as risk to life the rescue services will want to ensure the hull hasn’t been compromised when she refloats ( or not 😩 )
