Only if you fancy a trip to Osprey, I'll be sitting on the deck, with my steering wheel in my hands, pretending to be on the high Sea's making rummmmming noises

When I've got a boat, usually at Haslar Slip, they've started to charge for the carpark, which used to be free

Andy,
If you don't hear differently I'll be in Portsmouth Harbour at the Light Ship from about 1200 hrs.
I'll post on here first thing tomorrow if I cancel. But weather is now improving so looking good.
Nick.

At my usual place about 1130 hrs. I've paid my yearly dues and car parking is free. I'll then cruise round to Pompey.

You must be kidding
I'm not supplying cups to an event that I can't go on because I'm working
Did you see our Bio Degradeable beer cups at Glastonbury The farmer just ploughs them into the field after the event, or perhaps all that rain did that for him

Piccies
Managed to meet up with Lucky Ribster on what was a very mixed day with regards weather. Sun then rain then eventually sun again. Wind wasn't too bad so it was a decent enough day for the Solent.
Andy I have a 30 second vidoe clip of you (8 Megabytes) if you can PM me your E mail address.
1) Lucky Ribster getting some air.
2) and 3) Lucky Ribster.
4) Zerstorer and Luck Ribster moored in Cowes. No hassle with the Harbour Master. Mid week is great for getting the place to your self.
And I think we saw Tim M's boat Evolution off Calshot at 1200 hrs towing an unmasted red racing yacht. Waved but no reply. Must have been one of his underlings.
Total distance travelled was 46 NM and fuel used was 41 Litres, four crew on board and averaging 1.12 NM per Litre. More distance than anticipated just to go between Calshot, Portsmouth and Cowes. A blast to the Needles is the same sort of distance for me and gives you the possibility of playing in the waves. Nontheless a good day for both of us. It was good to get Zerstorer flying over the Solent chop again. Anyone know any fun places in the Eastern Solent to get some interesting wave patterns on a calm day ?
