Hi All,
Thanks for the offer to move the evening bit from bbq to Lightship . We'll definitely be there for that if that's the final decision, but if peeps prefer the bbq section, that's cool, do that (that's what I'd prefer if I were in everyone elses shoes and there will be other opportunities). It was a fab idea!.
We'll be out on the Sunday anyway so will meet up earlier in the day if you go the barbie route, I'll keep an eye out for final decision.
Cheers
Neil

I'm open to a democratic decision.
But for what its worth I'm going to vote for the Lightship this time. Maybe go for the Barbie another time. My main reason being that the tide at Bembridge is against us this time.

I'll vote for the lightship too-I've got to make it back for Monday. Shame about the Bembridge tide times.

Bugger. Due to unforseen circumstances I need to be back here by 9pm so I can't make it to the lightship-we'll have to recover at 7pm to get back in time.

Failing any other plan shall we call the Lightship 'RIBNET HQ' for the day.
Looks like if you hang around long enough on Sunday at the Lightship your going to bump in to someone from RIBNET.

Into Portsmouth Harbour (careful, entrance guarded by the Gestapo) and turn sharp left. Large green light ship has been converted into a bar and bistro for Ribnet members. Park on the jetty on the inside. Its part of Haslar marina and they sometimes charge, but its a long walk from the marina office so you are often quietly forgotten about.
