I normally use Premier Travel Inn in Fareham or Portsmouth, occasionally Tulip Inn in Portsmouth which is next to Premier Travel Inn.
Will most likely stay at Premier Travel Inn Portsmouth for this event.

Parsnip Soup ........ Better be up to last years standards!
Roast Turkey and trimmings .......... As usual, it is Christmas after all!
Brandy Snap Baskets. ......... Never tried these, I wonder if it's as interesting as Chestnut flavoured Ice Cream
Thanks Nasher!

Paul Hi, hope you are well.
You would of course be very welcome.
As bogi mentioned there are several hotels around, if you need help finding one let me know.
Shall I put you down for 1 or 2 places?
Oh, and yes its Church night this coming Monday.
Nasher

Hi Nasher
Just wondered if it was to late to join in on this one.
If not can we confirm a place for two.
Could you put us down for
1x soup and 1x hot chicken salad for starter
2x turkey for mains
1x cheese and bisuits and 1x brandy snap with mousse for puds
Cheers Ian

All
Having expressed an interest in coming to the x-mas bash, it’s now unfortunately time to stump up some cash!
Some have already paid a deposit so can obviously ignore that part.
First off then, could you please supply a £5 per head deposit quite soon please.
Cheques made payable to me, Simon Nash, or to ‘The Lightship’ and posted to:
Simon Nash
9 Elderberry Close
Clanfield
Hants
PO8 0XU
The total cost for the food this year is £27.50, and I’ll need the remaining £22.50 at least 2 weeks before the 12th December.
As far as food choices are concerned I’ll again need these at least 2 weeks before the event.
It’s not too late to change your mind if you have other commitments, just let me know as soon as possible.
Regards
Nasher.

Kev
You are quite right.
Black tie is as usual the preferred dress, but those who don't want to take part can come as they like.
Personally I enjoy the dressing up bit, and in previous years most have joined in, but it’s not by any means mandatory
