Andy your going to kick yourself, twas superb out there today. Flat calm seas all the way to Poole and escorted in to the harbour which had a suprising number of boats playing. Lunch was big fat boys burgers all round in the Lord Nelson, followed by a quick giggle as someone tried to park 50 feet of very shiney Sunseeker but couldn't work out how to whilst the wife ran backwards and forward with the fenders
Entertained by the HELO practising hovering over a distant rib in the Western Solent on the way home just as the sun started to set over the Noodles as we came back in
Yes, We were lucky it was an absolute fantastic day. The weather was spot on.
Pic 1 - RIBNET Flotilla. Any more and we could have walked over to the other side !
Pic 2 - RickUK3 escorting us out of the Harbour.
Pic 3 - RIBNET Memebers leaving the Harbour.
Pic 4 - Little Joe and his crew cruising along Bournmouth Sea Front.
Pic 5 - Pete7 shows a fine turn of speed in one of his more Eco Friendly moments.
Thanks for organising a great day, it was good to put faces to names. Shame the engine decided to play up on the way back out of the harbour managed to limp it back to the slip @ 3-4 knots WOT untill 50 yds before the slip when it suddenly sorted itself and shot in, some very worried looks on the jetskis waiting for the slip and me needing a change of underwear
Thanks again for a great day
Richard
Anybody want any of the pics I've got then I'll gladly forward the files on. Each file is about 1.6 Megs. I also have some video footage. Total size of all files is about 250 Megs. I can forward them via X Fire if your on. X Fire is free.
Enough said by everyone else on the day - here's a small selection of photographs. Full set of hi-res photos available to anyone who wants them (no charge!).
Forgot to say-it was a mistake not putting the drysuit back on-I had to jump in fully clothed to go and get my trailer.......to find some A-hole stole one of my trailer rollers while it was parked in Baiter yesterday
It was definitely there when I dragged it out after launching.

A cheaper option might be to get a pair of nylon waders too keep on the boat. I know they don't look boatey but they do the job and they're quite cheap. I have a set for £30 from a local tackle shop. Only problem is that the foot sizes are a bit on the tight side. I really need a size larger than normal.
I've actually got some PU boots (it's really the bottom half of a PU survival suit that had a damaged zip but it does the job) that do the job but guess who didn';t bring them
