Right okay,
Time to make an executive decision. Sunday it is unless I get massive negative feedback. (By the way I would rather do the Saturday but the weather is going to be lots nicer Sunday).
At 8 O'Clock I'll confirm this for those that are waiting for then.
See you all Sunday.

The Wych channel fuel barge is open in Poole 9.30am-dusk on Sunday so fuel is available.
I'll ring the pub and reschedule for Sunday and less of us.

okay,
Sorry for anyone that can't make Sunday. But Sunday it is, all due to the vast improvement of winds and drier weather on the Sunday
All details will be as previously discussed but lets put everything back Half an Hour. Therefore 1100 hrs off Cowes and 1130 hrs off Yarmouth.
Hope to meet a few of you. And apologies for those that couldn't make it due to last minute changes of the plan.
Nick.
PS. If anyone wants my mobile number so I can contact them on Sunday then please let me know.

Nick,
I was thinking about this in the car on the way over, and timings for me will be tight on Sunday regarding getting back in daylight with the time changes etc (a little nervous about navigating in the dark, as not really done that before).
Will definitely be out on Sunday, but may launch from Poole, come out to meet you, come to lunch and go for another little play before recovering.
Will work out plans tomorrow morning and let you know what i'll be doing.
Meeting at 11.30 off Yarmouth would mean a 12.00 departure (leaving the fuel stop in there), 13.00 off Poole, probably tied up at 13.30, lunch done by 14.45, back to Yarmouth (for me) at about 16.15 - roughly I guess.
So will put my thinking cap on and work out travel times etc to make the best of it.
Cheers
Neil

Neil,
If your concerned about night sailing and want to launch from Warsash, makes sense so you can get some good sea miles in, then I will stick with you.
I have good local knowledge of the area a chartplotter and lights etc.
Obviously we will take it slower if it gets dark. But I would appreciate the company as well. By the way night sailing is cool and certainly adds another dimension to boating.
I will be in no rush to get back therefore will stick to you like glue. I should imagine if we get any reduced light boating it will only be the last couple of miles anyway.
Nick.

Neil we are thinking along the same lines especially as we are going to lift Old Spice out in the afternoon, therefore sadly will pull out and probably head up to the Folly for lunch before returning to Pompey and the harbour Gestapo.
Have a good trip

Is their any one going to be at the RV at 1100 hrs on Sunday outside Cowes and then continuing on to Poole and doing the return trip ?
One accomplice would be appreciated.
If darkness is a problem maybe we could make it an earlier RV.

I will be there, coming from Ocean Quay in Southampton. Earlier will be fine with me as I'd also like to avoid a night passage .
I'll also be out tomorrow (Saturday) if anyone has any plans (BenC - are you referring to the Zapcat racing at Sandown?).
Andy

Just checked the timings and I wouldn't want to be leaving Poole too much after 2:00pm.
