Anybody sailing in the Southampton area on Sunday or monday 6/7 July 2003 and fancy taking a novice along with them just to show me the ropes and the good areas to Powerboat in.
The boat isn't run in yet and is not exactly big, but some company would be appreciated and local knowledge.
A more sober sensible post this morning... (too many glasses of the red last night!)
Just a thought - I don't know if you've done much of this sort of stuff before... might be an idea to launch somewhere a bit more sheltered like Pool Harbour, so if the sea is a bit lively you can potter around at upto 10kts, or if it's a good day, zip out around Studland Bay.
