Southwest channel crossing to Cherbourg Anyone fancy a few days in and around Cherbourg.
Done the crossing once befor, and thinking of going again.

I will be leaving from Torquay or there abouts but will be willing to meet up with anyone if need be.

Anyone interested get in contact so we can pick a date, I can fit in anytime.

I would love to go cross channel from the Solent.

Trouble is I only have a 4 Mtr RIB. Its one of my "I have to do this in my lifetime" wishes and would welcome any encouragement.

I shall keep an eye on your thread and see if it fits my requirements.

Best of luck.

I am planning a trip across the channel from the Solent to St Vaast which is on the Cherbourg peninsula about May time and you are quite welcome to tag along if you like. If you are interested then please PM me and that goes for anyone else who may be interested.

Nice one Brian.

Then again since we both have the same engine I bet Biggles would rather come in my boat 'As It's got to be alot Fasssssster ....... than your's, not that I'm being bitchy `and to think we come from the same part of the coast line.

Simon

Are you going on the bank holiday at the start of May for the RIBEX cruise.

RIBEX being Rigid Inflatable Boat Expeditions club and not that show that came later.

If so I'll see you there or on the way over.

Cheers

Mark

Well as long as they dont hold hands, I dont see any harm in it.

Washer,
What leg do you have on your Yanmar?
Oh, and by the way, you will definately be faster than Cyanide.
