Spring Solent Cruise - 28th/29th March

Just thought I'd start a thread to see if there was any interest in a solent cruise on this weekend (28th/29th March). The weather the last couple of days has got me in the mood for a traditional mass solent cruise RIBnet style! I'm also hoping to catch up with some of the old faces from previous cruises a couple of years ago...you know who you are!

I don't have a plan (open to suggestions) but if I had to suggest something it would almost certainly involve a blast to the needles/scratchells bay, some beer, burgers, a pub in yarmouth and a lot of grinning and 100s of photos for me to sort out at the end of the day!

So anyone keen, speak up! Lets welcome in the summer by burning some fuel and doing our bit to raise temperatures through global warming

I'm always up for anything that involves beer. I'll check the tides at home tonight but have a feeling that with what I suspect are spring tides, I might not be able to stay out too long or I won't be able to get back into the marina.

I thought there would be more interest, especially from the pompy lot! Anyway, if it goes ahead, play by ear I guess. Don't think my boat will be fixed in time anyway!
