St. George's Day Solent Sundowner - Monday April 23 2007
OK it's a Monday. 23 April 2007.
And many of us have to work.
But it must be done. Even if it's a hurricane and a drink in a local hostelry.
Anyone up for a low-key (not a sticky!) rosy-faced type potter to the Lightship, Ryde or Gunwharf or anywhere at all for the National (not yet a) Halliday ?
Proms music blaring. Could be a nice outing on Nauti Ferries?
Strictly Come Morris Dancing?
Shakespeare RIBs pride of place? Any other ideas?
Kathleen & Paul

Robin, if Nauti Ferries aren't obliging or you fancy a change, you are more than welcome on Sidewinder (just don't wear the kilt!)

Might be a bit far for a sundowner? (Not for you Admiral Pete, I meant for us ) ???
But all ideas welcome!
Jimbo cheers for that. We've 2 spaces on Merlin also and it may be that Tony, Robin, Andy will be Master Crewmen (in order to properly celebrate!)
Kathleen
PS DHD I think St. George was a nice man from the Middle East? Confusingly the Portuguese also seem quite fond of him which makes England-Portugal matches a little confusing
