Some of the best days afloat I've had have been in winter months, calm seas and bright sunshine. And no jet skis or numpty heads. Lol

Have we got any SIBs coming?

I don't want to be the only one getting left behind.

Its a 4m Avon with a 50 on the back ... of course unless its glassy smooth and I have been working out to be able to hang on to the tiller on the Bombard again

Think there are pics in my 'album' and on various threads . also a great film ' two boats in a sea' shot by Avocets 'scurvy crew' on a very very cold January afternoon

If you have decided on the 29th at Lymington you may find it a bit busy as BIBOA are holding the annual Rib (powerboat) race that day, it's based in the Royal Lymington Yacht Club next to the slipway, I'm sure you would all be welcome, and they are always looking for safety boats, after racing you have the prizegiving and a curry dinner in the club, it a great event.
