Sunday 09/05

A few RIBneters met up (at last some might say) in Wooton Creek today to celebrate the passing of PB L2 by Scurvy Crew (now to be known as "Mr Scurvey Crew" and Froglover (whose driving ability I will never doubt again after watching the car ferry have five attempts at docking).

Here we have the "good ship" Zebedee arriving in style under the command of "The Missuss. Never have I seen such a well-honed crew leap into action in preperation for coming along side with one word, nay, bark of command "NOWWWW". They appeared to be in fear of their lives although we did think that we heard the crack of The Cat several times drifting on the afternoon breeze as they were coming up the channel

We knew that the arrival was important as they were escorted in by a jet black stealthy RIB powered by a not so stealthy Johnson o/b. The crew of said vessel were resplendent in their dayglo orange outfits which rather put paid to the stealth bit.

Tea was taken in the Royal Victoria Yacht Club after being charged £4 each boat for a short stay on their pontoon

More pictures, I regret to say, may well follow.

Thank you

I would like to say a big thank you to Mr Scurvey (my partner in crime on the level 2) and Ribald for use of pendragon.

And Pete I will try to see what she's like on full throttle next time !

I would also want to say a big thank you to Aging youth, for his support and being there for me.

It was a great day, catching up with old friends, and meeting new ones.

Looking forward to more time behind the wheel on southcoast two ( although I now want a bigger boat) don't tell kev !!

Looking forward to see you all at Ribex.

£4 seems quite reasonable after being asked for £11 for a short stay at Bucklers Hard. Found it easier to turn the engine off and let the kids pretend they were ashore!!!!

Congratulations

Hi All,

Many congratulations to Froglover & (Mr) Scurvey Crew on passing your PB Level 2. Always new you could do it

I think now that Ribald will be fighting to take the helm of Pendragon as he dose like being the Skipper

As for us; AY & FL, I am now looking into my new boat purchase, anyone interested in "Southcoast Two"? Which judging by Froglover's wishes might have to be sold to pay for said new boat.

Well done to you both.

GRRRRRRRRRRR

Looks like as a gift for passing his L2 I shall have to transfer my half of Pendragon (the noisy, expensive back end ) to Mr SC whilst I have the sharp pointy end.
