Sunday 27th December - Last Nacho Run of 2015

As I can't make the annual 2016 Nacho run on Sunday 4th Jan, I'll be pre-empting it by hoping to blow away the Xmas cobwebs on Sunday 27th December for the Last Nacho Run of 2015.

It's a long way off, but if all goes to plan we'll be leaving Southampton Dry Stack at about 11am and should be in Yarmouth at about Midday.

Anyone wanting to join us will be most welcome.

Trev

I think I'm able to do this one, as long as its not too ugly weather wise.

Hi Trev, I'll be up for this 'pre-nacho run'. As I've sold HL I'll hide Watershed away somewhere in Yarmouth! Do we need to 'warn' the Wheatsheaf I wonder?

Thanks for all the replies.

I'll update timings over Xmas - but typically I'll be leaving Southampton Dry Stack at about 11.00 so would get to Yarmouth at about midday, or just after if we're running a bit late.

The weather is not looking that appealing and so unless the forecast improves at the last minute then we shan't run up from Poole and join you. A real shame as we were looking forward to this and shifted things around so it could happen but with wave heights topping 3.3m and still very strong winds it's not my cup of tea.

Might be sticking to the Hamble or Cowes if this wind keeps up like its forecast to

We're still hoping to do the full Nacho Run - I think once we get across to Cowes we'll be in the lee so the run up to Yarmouth shouldn't be too bad if we hug the coast. (Cowes will be a back up run - but I've done that too many times recently so really want to get up to Yarmouth if we can)

I'm still in the Bembridge Cutter - but will stick with Black Adder as a callsign, but no AIS as that will show the boat as being in Bembridge!

Let's go with Ch08 for VHF, with 72 as a backup if there's any yachts racing on 08.

I've got 7 people in total wanting to come so if possible would like to grab a couple of seats on Never Enough and /or Zonneschijn if possible - otherwise I'll be towing Baby Blue down as well!

We'll get to SDS for 10.30, aiming to leave at about 11. If we leave SDS any earlier we'll get to Yarmouth before food's available!

See you tomorrow.
