Can recommend the Barbican Revival restaurant. Turn left out of Invicata then right and its about 150m on RH side. Excellent steaks and seafood. Invicta was a nice enough place and good to have everyone together for the rib.net gathering but food wasnt the best on the Sat night.

I plan to be down Friday afternoon and have arranged with Mayflower for overnight mooring for 'BOB' so will get myself sorted and checked in at the Invicta then pop down for a drink and a chat with you.

We are going down to Plymouth tomorrow morning and are planning to launch in the afternoon.

We are also going to take a mooring on Friday and will be around.

7.8 Ballistic Rib Stolen
A black 7.8 Ballistic rib with teak decks and twin 225hp Merc Optimax engines was stolen in the last 48hrs (23.5.03) from the Lymington area. This is a unique boat with numerous differences to other Ballistics one of which is the stainless steel 'A' frame. It must be launched from a concrete slip so there are high chances of it being spotted. If you have any details or think you have seen this boat please call

Hi Guys,

I and my family must express our most grateful thanks to every body in Plymouth for the Southwest Cruise, especially Martin Stacey, Mike and Di Garside for letting us on to your boats, and making us feel so welcome.

My boys Ryan and Reece have not stopped talking about who got their boat furthest out of the water. I think it ended up as a two way tie between Martin on Bob and Peter smith and family on their Ribeye.

Thanks again and hope to see you all again soon, but with our own boat next time.

Well, thanks, Brian. That was really first class. The organisation top-notch and the company excellent. Too much noise, too much yak, too much booze and too little sleep. Diana and I had a ball.

Good to meet families Gingercoastie and Smith. And good to see the Mums and Kids enjoying themselves as much as the Dads. Only sorry you weren't all with us for Day 2.

I can only really echo Mike's comments - a superb weekend Brian. Hope to meet some if not all of you again in the not too distant future.

Shame i did not manage to help out with bar profits for as long as you 'olds, i assume that while i was sleeping my medal for traveling so far was awarded!

Excellent weekend despite the hangover on sunday

Mike, I was'nt mumbling to Martin, I think it was more of a growl as I still hav'nt forgiven him for keeping me in that bar till 3.00 am

After a hangover like that I've decided to shave my head and join a band of wandering Bhudist Monks destined to never drink again

Anyway can't get the barnett trimmed till tomorrow so am off now for a swift livener

Great to see everyone and Ginger (I'm still not sure why) Coastie, I hope you and the family have dried out now

Don't remember tieing you to the bar and force feeding you booze Andy.

I know I had a good night because the band was still playing in my head most of Sunday morning.

And thats the last time I go drinking with someone who dresses like an orange. I thought Tango was non-alcholic
