Stalking DHD
We got blown out from going to sea today, so the wife, baby, dogs and I (in correct pecking order ) went for a spin... walk on the Preselis and then down to Neyland....
I left a message for Brad last night....but i'm not convinced i have the correct moby number /have taken it down correctly.....
As we pulled into Neyland saw a Blue Vipermax with an Opti (Mariner silver cowl) heading out two up (crew wearing a green bobblehat)....could well have been (you) Brad?
Afterwards we took a spin down to Dale where we met some divers from Cardiff who were making the best of it and diving inside the Haven....talked RIBs and vis a while then on to St.Brides....shame the wind got up so badly....typical
Sorry to have missed you guys....suspect you've managed some Ribbing even if not what you'd hoped....Still, sun is shining which is something!
Dan

Yes, Dan, it was the right number, but I only just noticed your voicemail - sorry about that.

Twas nice
Saturday was calm, then a strong Northerly wind yesterday and today, but sunny & dry, so pretty good, given the forecast.

Cool - usual RIBnet turn out then
To be fair many did say that they wouldn't be able to attend later in the thread - anyway I'm sure it was a quality elite group of RIBnet members than the riff raff we'd have attracted if we'd have been in attendance

Huh, thanks !
It was a small but select gathering - I really enjoyed it anyway! We only stayed the Friday night in Dale; it's a nice quiet campsite which would benefit greatly from a bit of signposting at the turning from the road.
Launched from Dale on Saturday & went to watch the puffins, expertly guided by DHD & Mark (us, not the puffins); then went back to a different campsite at Saundersfoot via a pub or two.
Someone thought it would be a good idea to walk from Saundersfoot to Tenby on Sunday so I'm still aching a bit from that, and have had a few comments about the sun-kissed look I'm currently sporting (ok maybe it's windburn).
Thank you Jean for planting the idea and meaning I didn't have to organise my own holiday !
There are some photos which I'll try and find later on.

Great to hear you enjoyed it - the camp-site is nice and quiet as its hard to find - don't want loads of grockles in there
Really looking forward to seeing the pictures - sorry we couldn't enjoy it with you

I think you'll find, Knotty, that you have confused the Green Berets with the Green Bobble Hats.
Different mob entirely
