There's someone on one of the other threads with a name that sounds like a pudding who's selling an SR5.4, even the Navy struggle to make them look camp.
Although, to get slightly back on topic, that could be an interesting idea for an April Fools gathering ......

Good idea Shaz - camp your RIB
Anyway back to the topic in question - looks like May Bank Holiday weekend might be a good starter for 10
So that would be evening of the 30th April - 3rd May

Yes - hello - no offence intended !
I would say something about serving with cream but trying to avoid the bilges for a couple of days.
:-)
(Do I need to pay to get proper smilies ?)

You may have to join another forum to get PROPER smilies, most of ours are just plain rude.

I picked Zubenelgenubi because its a big word!
It is star # 57 in HMSO Nautical Almanac for celestial navigation.
Zubenelgenubi is the second brightest star in the constellation of Libra.
See, you learn something new every day!

Thanks Knot Yet, it would appear I was being too simple - improper smilies are good too.
I am learning loads, also had to look up 'Zabaglione' to make sure I wasn't going mad - it wasn't what I thought it was but still looks quite nice:

'Zubenelgenubi' is a very cool name, must be a bit of a nightmare if you have to spell it out on the radio though (assuming it's your boat name and you didn't go to that much effort just for a forum name!)

Zubenelgenubi is a bit long for a boat name & phonetically it would take ages on the radio.
Ive gone with "Revillagigedo" instead!

Well I had no idea that our Zubenelgenubi was even remotely related to a pudding - so have also learnt something

I'm thinking May time - perhaps the first Mayday bank holiday?
Open to other suggestions and of course experience of more local Ribsters - what do you think??
