Or, if you know someone with a van living in the area...........
All good advice, as always, Alex.

I ditched the van for a car in Feb this year!! - was having issues getting into some local car parks with these silly low barriers to stop people camping overnight
Have also lost the ribseadrive gallery and video pages now too since Sea Drive has gone.... will start uploading 'boaty' pics of various local haunts to flickr though so people can see what's about.

Yeah, we...., sorry,... they end up having to camp overnight in the Council office car parks instead
Or, there is a nice spot near the lock gates in Milford (I'm told)

Hi Alex
Thanks so much for the information - whilst I'm very familiar with that area of Pembrokeshire on foot - I have no idea of the challenges by RIB - hence the idea of a Pembrokeshire gathering - any info you can supply is much appreciated

I've been through most of the pages and can't find the name of the campsite, has a particular site been decided on yet ? I was thinking of mentioning it to the climbing type people we know to see if it's well placed for them, which could make for a bigger party. If any ribbers or friends want to have a go at climbing on one of the days they may be able to arrange that too.

Hi Shaz
Yes we have a campsite all sorted but Sharon does'nt really advertise hence why you can't find her - the site is small but she may well allow us a sperate field - so was going to try and group book nearer the time when we have a clearer idea of numbers.
It's pretty rustic and up a rather steep hill so might not appeal to all - I think most people will liaise to meet up somewhere each day - but we will definitely be staying at Dale Hill - we can get our caravan up there so no worries re trailering the RIB
Details as follows:
Dale Hill Farm - 1.3 miles from village Sharon Bryan 01646 636359
CAMPING - Tents Caravans, campervans welcome. W.C. Showers, Electricity.
Shout if I can help further

1st May Bank Holiday 2010 - Cruise details and Ribnet Members
Petrol is NOT readily available on the water so suitable containers required. Petrol is available on the quay at Lawrenny and if you've got loose cans, then a short walk to the supermarket petrol station at Pembroke Dock.
Tenby cruising - worth checking range activity although not expected at weekends

Rather than read though hundreds of posts, could someone tell me if there is a local slipway to launch and recover every day or moor up somewhere? If the launch and recover option is available then this might well solve the fuel problems some might have.

Yes Andy you can launch and recover from Dale - our plans - or you may be able to moor up - we hope to go down in Feb and I will check with Dale Sailing Club regarding this option - if anyone knows better please let us know.

Hi Jean, I still plan to be there. However I can't commit until April at earliest. Is this going to be a problem for the campsite?

No -don't worry Andy, its likely we will end up in our own field but if not enough people we will share the main camping field.
I can't imagine this will be a problem for Sharon - any challenges should become clear over the February Half Term when we hope to pop down for a few days and confirm all the nitty gritty details

Cool - have just registered. How 'cosy' is the field - would it be ok to extend an invite to some friendly climbers or are we going to struggle for space ?
